    A friendly match on Deerwood Country Club’s courts may be the best way to spend a sunny day in Florida. Play the same courts as tennis pros such as Arthur Ashe, Jimmy Connors, Margaret Court and Billie Jean King.

    Our members and their guests can enjoy a professional-quality match on our courts and a host of other amenities through our racquet programs. We host league and team play for adults and juniors at all USTA and Country Club levels. The Club has 12 Har-Tru® courts, all are lit for night play and 4 Pickleball courts. The Pro Shop is fully stocked with attire, gear, equipment and restringing services and has been recently renovated, so stop in and get connected.

    A variety of leagues, instructional programs and private lessons are available, led by Director of Tennis Danny Colon. Fun-filled junior camps and family-focused clinics provide a great way to learn the sport or to hone skills.

    And for top-level players, Club Championships take place annually to include:

        Frank has provided exceptional service, instruction, and passion for teaching tennis to our members for quite some time. Frank's tennis background is impressive. He was a top 500 ranked ATP player, top 5 NCAA Division 1 player, full-time hitting partner of Steffi Graf when she was number 1 in the world, and the list goes on and on. We have been lucky to have him working on our team, and his wealth of knowledge is a huge part of why our program has grown so much. Frank focuses on developing all aspects of Deerwood Tennis and is very involved in our planning and behind the scenes operation. At Deerwood Tennis, our goal is to keep improving our program and everyone's tennis games.

        Pro Shop Manager

        Julie has had a love for tennis for over 30 years. She spent 20 years in court reporting and met her husband playing tennis on weekend dates. She retired after having her daughter Emma Ruth, who also has a passion for the game. Julie spends most of her free time playing in three leagues and attending clinics as much as possible. She also enjoys being team mom/coach to her daughter’s Team Tennis league. Julie has a passion for the game and is thrilled to work with Danny and the team at Deerwood Country Club, and sees this as the perfect opportunity to engage a career in her true passion for tennis.
